ContiMotion tire
I've put about 5 sets of these on my 5th gen VFR and ride aggressively on the local mountain twisties as well as use my mc for long distance miles- I truly use my mc as a sport/tourer. I'm a big guy on a heavy mc and consistently get 6000-7000 miles on the rear (past the wear bars) and keep coming back due to the neutral steering and fantastic value these offer. Sure you can buy more expensive tires but you're probably not going to get any better mileage or grip.

Conti Motion rear tire
This tire performs very well in dry and wet conditions, however the tread life was disappointing. The reason I purchased this tire was for a longer tire life span then the typical sport bike tire, the front tire is doing very well but the rear already had to be replaced a 4,000 miles. Maybe I am just not used to this style of tire coming from cruisers.

Great tire for the rear of my Ducati ST4s. Handles well and the wear was more then I had expected.
